404 Music Electronic Accessories

solangelogoWith this fresh new brand of musical electronic accessories, I was directly targeting preteens and college-age students. I accomplished this with a cheeky name, eye-catching colour palettes and a couple characters that would feature on every package and advertisement.

For the wordmark, I stuck with very simple typography with a coloured line through the numbers to draw the eye and add dimension, as this colour changes according to the product or purpose.

Every product has three colours, one main that features heavily on all associated graphics, one middle variant to go inside the boxes, and one medium grey to serve as background to the bright vibrancy of the first two.

In addition to the typographic elements of the wordmark, I manipulated the text for the brand motto freedom of sound to create a dynamic shape that fits well with the marketing and sleekness of the packaging.
